Job Summary:

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will serve as a technical expert and key resource in quality assurance activities, ensuring IT systems, products, and services meet established standards. This role involves leading testing efforts, collaborating closely with development teams, administering change control processes, and driving quality improvements. The analyst will also prepare documentation, training materials, and reports while supporting workflow analysis and QA best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform comprehensive testing to validate IT systems and applications.
• Collaborate with application development teams during software development and support phases.
• Administer change control processes to achieve zero-defect software releases.
• Create complex test data and document all testing activities, findings, and reports.
• Provide regular status reports to management on testing progress and quality metrics.
• Conduct complex workflow analysis and recommend quality improvements.
• Develop and update QA documentation, manuals, and training curriculum.
• Support agency technical writers with necessary resources and information.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Minimum 5 years of QA testing experience.
• Experience writing test scenarios and test cases in DevOps.
• Experience executing test cases manually.
• Experience reporting bugs in DevOps.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience scripting test cases using UFT One or similar automation tools (3 years preferred).
• Experience executing automated test cases with tools like UFT One.
• Familiarity with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of Salesforce platform.

Special Considerations:

• Position is remote but requires onsite presence in Indiana for workshops and meetings as needed.
• Only candidates currently residing in Indiana will be considered.
• Absences longer than two weeks require prior approval and must provide reachable contact information.
• Potential for position to convert to full-time for eligible candidates without sponsorship requirements.
• Initial contract duration through June 30, 2027, with possibility of extension.
• Candidate must agree to hourly pay range and provider markup conditions.
• Interviews will begin via Teams with possible final in-person interview.

Scheduling:

• Remote work schedule with flexibility for onsite meetings and workshops in Indiana.
