Public Works, Street Sweeper Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $19.00 to $22.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift ( Monday through Saturday from 07:30am to 05:30pm )

• Operate street sweeping vehicles, street repairs vehicles, snow removal vehicles, to repair streets, curbs, parking lots, and public areas.
• Inspect, maintain, and perform basic servicing of street vehicles and equipment (fueling, fluids, minor adjustments) Identify and report roadway hazards, debris, or maintenance issues
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating equipment
• Maintain accurate logs of routes, work performed, and equipment usage Assist with leaf collection, storm cleanup, or other public works duties as needed
• Use of hand tools

Public Works, Street Sweeper Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• High school diploma or equivalent, Valid driver’s license (CDL required).
• Ability to operate heavy or specialized equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
• Lift 50-75lbs, stand, sit for long-periods

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
