About the Company Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), designs, develops, manufactures, markets, services and supports the world's most technologically advanced business jet aircraft. Role Overview Perform inspections of aircraft and aircraft components and review paperwork to ensure that workmanship meets acceptable standards of quality and that aircraft are returned to service in an airworthy condition with all required documentation properly completed and filed. The inspector works as an integral part of the Quality Control and Quality Assurance team, assuring that aircraft and components comply with FAA and CAA requirements. The position is based at the Gulfstream Texas repair and overhaul facility in Fort Worth. Key Responsibilities Carry out Quality Control inspections on aircraft and components Complete inspections of aircraft, engine and component repairs and alterations to ensure conformity to FAA-approved or acceptable data Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements on the aircraft during maintenance or outfitting Keep accurate, neat and legible records of the work performed on aircraft and components Coordinate throughout assigned jobs with Return to Service to ensure accurate aircraft records are produced in a timely manner Audit maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion on all aircraft before approval for return to service Ensure aircraft and components are airworthy before any flight activities Mentor technicians on effective documentation Additional duties Communicate with management as required to identify work assignments and delivery schedules Provide technical support to inspection personnel in support of FAA and/or CAA documented requirements Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Able to work in a fast-paced repair and overhaul environment General knowledge of 14 CFR regulations Basic computer skills required; strong computer skills preferred Wheel, brake and structures repair and overhaul experience is an advantage Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation, shop mathematics and Quality Control procedures Working knowledge and application of Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems and methodologies Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language Licences & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) licence required Experience Six years of aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical and/or mechanical) Additional Information Department: Quality Assurance Employment type: Full-time Shift: First Travel: Up to 25% Posting end date: 4 September 2026 Gulfstream does not provide work visa sponsorship for this position, unless the applicant is a currently sponsored Gulfstream employee.

Requirements
