Job Description

Our client, a growing business services organization, is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join their team on a hybrid schedule out of their Austin, Texas office. In this full-time role, you will enter, update, and maintain information across company databases and systems, ensuring the data integrity that keeps day-to-day operations running smoothly.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, self-motivated professional who enjoys focused work and the balance of in-office collaboration and remote days. You will partner with team members across departments to verify records, resolve discrepancies, and keep information current. No prior industry experience is required — strong attention to detail and reliability matter most.

Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and verify data across internal databases and spreadsheets
  • Review records for accuracy and correct discrepancies
  • Organize and maintain digital files and documentation
  • Process incoming information within established turnaround times
  • Generate routine reports and data summaries as requested
  • Communicate with team members to confirm and clarify information
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer data

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with computers and typing (40+ WPM preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Able to work on a hybrid schedule from the Austin office
  • Reliable high-speed internet for remote days
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
